Final pictures up!

Our "Old Owl" clock we bought in Charleston, SC on our honeymoon.

The office with all our diplomas.  Jake's Masters degree is on the side wall to the left, then his Bachelor degree, then my Bachelor degree, then his Doctorate degree.

Turning around to see the other side of the office where the enormous office organizer is hung.

This is the said office organizer.

The hallway bathroom, oriental themed.

Turning around to the other side of the bathroom.

Same bathroom.  Decoration shot.

Kids room/Play room/Guest room.  We downsized the flowers that were there as wall art.

Other side, same room.

Long shot, other side, same room.

Entrance to play room.

Exiting the play room heading into the hallway.  The garage door would be on your left from this position and the playroom would be behind you.  The UVa picture on the right wall is both "welcoming" as you come in from the garage and "playful" as you transition into the kids room and "UVa-ish" as you transition into the UVA themed hallway.  The white shelves hold our keys, sunglasses, cell phones, chargers, and other odds things to take to and from the car.  Above the shelves are a generic architectural layout of the Lawn at UVa.

As you walk into our bedroom the pictures are on the right and the dresser is straight ahead.  This is our dancing collage.

Print of Van Gogh Olive Fields and peacock feathers.

Turning to face the bed we have the Lavender fields, which has colors that are reflected in the bedspread, which is pulled back right now.  Too hot!!

Turning back to look at the entrance to our bedroom (left) and the master bathroom (right).  Three shelves of family photos!

The master bathroom has also taken on a dancing/women's backs theme.  This is next to the sink, over the toilet and across from the shower.

This is over the tub and across from the sink.

And here we have one final long shot of the hallway with UVa pictures.  There's another one on the left next to the washer/dryer closet but I couldn't justify taking a picture of just that.  :)

Jake and I went again to Horizon Presbyterian Church this Sunday and enjoyed it as much as the first time.  We also went to small group bible study with them last Thursday and that was great too. This morning I joined three 70-something year old and a 40-something year old for sewing!  They are making lap and baby quilts to sell for a fundraiser for the church's yearly mission trip to Honduras.  Jake is enjoying work but says it feels a lot like grad school.  Lots of simulations and reading research papers :)  Homesickness and sadness and loneliness come and go.  Keep praying for us and calling us! Our phone numbers are the same!  I am still waiting on the copies of my marriage license to show up in the mail so I can get rolling on changing my name and getting a new passport, drivers license, car registration, SS card and nursing license!  Sigh.  I called them today and they said they were putting it in the mail today.  Angela, our wedding photographer, has a blog post up about our wedding : http://celestial-sights.blogspot.com/2012/04/lauda-and-jakes-wedding-32412.html

Enjoy!
