It is Jake's fourth day at work and my fourth day at home, also working :) The moving truck came on Tuesday morning and I unpacked the last box on Wednesday night. The glass surround for the master bathroom shower was put in today and will be use-able tomorrow morning. We finally went grocery shopping last night and made our first meal at home: creamy sun-dried tomato sauce over rotini and"everything" bagels broiled with butter and garlic powder. Dessert was mint-chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. Today I have been "hugging the terminal" as Jake puts it. Something he does every day :) Today is "admin" day: writing thank you notes, paying bills, setting up technology around the house, running errands. Sigh. There are so many "little jobs" to do and you have to do them in the right order!! Here are some pictures of the house at this point: Bedrooms, then bathrooms, living, dining, kitchen and garage cupboards. I have no idea, yet, how to change the formatting on the photos after choosing the initial formatting in the upload box. Grrr. Sorry for the scattering!
Looks like you have been a good Rosie the Rivetor! Interesting to see the blend of the two styles. You don't even have any little piles of crap to put away still! Ready to help me move and get settled? ;)
